If you like to fly, it's all flat, wet, and mostly you'll be working with people who know which end of the helicopter's which. You could be flying max crew duty days, or not. You report, you fly, you finish the paperwork and you crash for 10 hours- repeat until end of hitch. Then, you go home and you forget it.
Did PHI for 13 years, left in '97, and very satisfied. I would got back to that situation without second thoughts. No BS in maintenance, training, or safety. Scheduling, being closer to customer irrationality, could be tricky but they were very reasonable as a whole, and I was glad they took the heat of the interface.
